Notification Settings
Control operational alerts and team notification behavior
Notification Settings lets each user choose what they receive by email and SMS.
These are user-level preferences, so each team member should configure their own profile.
Available Email Preferences
From Settings > Notifications, you can enable or disable:
- News & updates
- Weekly summary
- Thread replies
- Monthly report
Use these controls to balance awareness with noise.
Available SMS Preference
You can also toggle:
- Enable SMS alerts
Use SMS only for time-sensitive workflows where immediate visibility matters.
Recommended Team Configuration
Frontline responders
Enable:
- thread replies
- critical SMS alerts
Optional:
- weekly summary
Managers
Enable:
- weekly summary
- monthly report
- thread replies
Optional:
- SMS alerts for escalation-heavy teams
Executives/owners
Enable:
- weekly summary
- monthly report
Optional:
- thread replies only if operationally involved
Troubleshooting
"I am not receiving notifications"
Check:
- preference toggles are enabled
- your user session saved successfully
- your inbox/spam filtering rules
"Too many notifications"
Reduce noise in this order:
- disable non-critical email categories
- keep weekly/monthly summaries enabled
- reserve SMS for urgent use only
