Manage Subscription Changes

Upgrade plans, open Stripe billing portal, and manage paid subscription settings

Use Billing settings to start upgrades and open Stripe's billing portal for payment and subscription management.

Start an Upgrade

  1. Go to Settings > Billing.
  2. In Available Plans, choose a higher plan.
  3. Click Upgrade.
  4. Complete checkout in Stripe.

After checkout, you return to Billing and your subscription data refreshes automatically.

Open Billing Portal

If your organization already has a Stripe customer record:

  1. Open Settings > Billing.
  2. Click Manage Billing in the Current Plan card.
  3. Make changes in Stripe customer portal.

Typical portal actions include:

  • Updating payment method
  • Downloading invoices
  • Managing cancellation at period end

Status Messages After Redirect

Billing page can display status after Stripe redirect:

  • success=true: subscription update completed
  • canceled=true: checkout canceled
  • sms_success=true: SMS add-on purchase completed

Notes

  • Checkout supports Starter, Pro, and Business plans.
  • All plans require checkout to activate.

Before You Upgrade

  • review expected SMS usage and automation volume
  • confirm which users need billing/admin access
  • align upgrade timing with campaign periods to avoid mid-cycle surprises

After plan changes, recheck Billing page totals and limits so operational teams have the current thresholds.
