Slack Integration

Open Settings > Integrations and use the Slack section.

The Slack workflow supports:

• connect webhook URL
• test message delivery
• disconnect when rotating credentials

Use a valid Slack incoming webhook URL:

https://hooks.slack.com/services/...

Invalid URLs are rejected during setup.

Create separate channels for different urgency levels:

• #cx-alerts-critical for urgent escalations
• #cx-ops for routine workflow notifications
• #cx-digest for lower-priority summaries

Keep noise low in high-priority channels.

• Treat webhook URLs as secrets.
• Rotate webhook URLs during security reviews.
• Disconnect stale webhooks tied to deprecated channels.

Check:

• webhook URL format
• Slack app permissions
• whether the integration shows connected

Run a test message from Integrations to confirm end-to-end delivery.

Document which events should reach Slack and who owns response for each channel. This avoids alert fatigue and ensures Slack notifications translate into real action.
