Importing Reviews

In Reviews > All Reviews:

1. Click Import Review.
2. Select platform.
3. Enter reviewer name, rating, and optional text/date.
4. Save.

Ratings are normalized to the app’s 1–5 display scale.

Bulk import supports up to 100 rows per request with fields like:

• platform
• reviewer_name
• rating
• text (optional)
• published_at (optional)

Imported reviews are stored with source metadata, such as:

• manual
• csv_import

• Backfill data before first sync
• Add platforms without API connectors
• Migrate reviews from legacy tools

Before importing:

• verify platform names are valid
• normalize date format for published_at
• ensure ratings match source scale expectations
• remove duplicate rows in CSV batches

After importing, spot-check a sample in Reviews Inbox for platform, rating, and text accuracy.

Keep an import changelog (source, date, batch size) so later data audits can trace where records came from.
