Replying to Reviews
Create, edit, and delete replies with platform-aware sync behavior
demeterrr supports local reply management for all review records, with platform sync where available.
Sync Behavior
For Google reviews with valid GBP identifiers:
- New and updated replies attempt push to Google
- Delete attempts remove the Google-side reply as well
For platforms without reply sync support, replies are stored locally.
Suggested Reply
If a suggested reply is available, you can use it as a starting point and edit before posting.
Audit Trail
Reply create/update/delete actions write audit events for traceability.
Troubleshooting
Reply saved but not synced
Likely causes:
- Platform does not support reply sync
- Google review lacks GBP linkage
- Token/connectivity issues during sync call
Cannot delete synced reply
Local delete still succeeds, but platform delete may fail if connectivity/token checks fail.
Response Quality Tips
- acknowledge specifics from the review, not generic text
- keep tone professional and concise
- avoid sharing private customer details in public replies
- escalate sensitive disputes to offline follow-up when needed
