Sequence Settings Reference
Understand all sequence-level settings and how they affect delivery behavior
Sequence settings control how your workflow runs beyond individual steps.
Trigger Type
Options in builder:
- Manual
- API Trigger
- Scheduled
- Event-Based (Automation)
Event-based mode requires a matching trigger event and active status. API trigger mode is typically used with execute endpoints.
Trigger Event (Event-Based Only)
Available values:
- Survey Completed
- Promoter (NPS 9-10)
- Detractor (NPS 0-6)
- Low NPS (<= 6)
Channel Priority
Choose:
- Email First
- SMS First
This affects channel selection behavior for eligible survey sends in sequence execution.
Send Reminders
This toggle is stored as sequence configuration and can be managed safely from settings.
For production-critical reminder automation, validate behavior in your environment before relying on it for SLA workflows.
Skip Weekends
When enabled, delayed steps that would land on Saturday/Sunday are pushed to Monday.
This is useful for B2B workflows and support-hours alignment.
Skip Reviews for Detractors
When enabled, review request steps are skipped automatically for contacts with detractor-level latest NPS.
Use this to reduce negative public review risk.
Custom CSS
Custom CSS can be stored at sequence level for branded public sequence-related pages.
- Max length: 10,000 characters
- Recommended: keep simple and test across devices
